Walk in and this is one of the best cafes I’ve ever been too. The environment is awesome with the theming and the coffee is really good too! They put in a lot of work to get this place like this and it’s insanely nice to go in and see everything! I like the music to it’s quite relaxing. I recommend this place to anyone it’s going to be a staple to Venice Florida!

What a delight to be able to give a 5 star review! I often desire a quick place to escape the hurry of my day to day activities, this is a perfect spot. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so pleasant. A spacious cafe environment skillfully designed to celebrate French cuisine and attitudes. The French music bubbles in the background without overwhelmingly the relaxed mood. Our food was light and decadent, clearly prepared with care, balance and patience. How they manage to make their food have bakery quality without feeling mass produced is a mystery but my guess is excellent preparation each day. It didn’t take long for our sandwiches to come out hot, the service was superb. Right now they are doing sandwich, side and drink deals so we also had beverages. The chai latte was brewed with tea leaves onsite and you could taste the fresh flavors. The sparkling lemonade was refreshing and not aggressively aerated so I could discern the floral flavors without being hit over the head with bitterness. We did not feel rushed or hurried at all, in fact there were books and games available for patrons to use if we desired it. We will definitely be coming again. I recommend Le Parisian sandwich, with fruit side and the sparkling lemonade. They preserved the fruit in lemon juice so it paired well with my lemonade. We’ll be back for bakery items in the future, the smell was wonderful.

I've been waiting for this place to open & just happened to finally notice an OPEN sign. A bright, airy place. Friendly staff. They have fridges on 2 walls that are yet to be filled so I look forward to seeing what they will be selling in those fridges. I am an "all passionfruit" girl & they have not just one but TWO items on the menu with passionfruit in them! I tried the Passionfruit Mango Eclair & it was amazing! Next trip in I will be tasting their Passionfruit drink - French Kiss. So glad we have another nice bakery close to where I live.

Today I discovered a hidden gem Moulin Blanc Cafe . A wonderful French bakery. Located in Bird Bay Plaza, just off of US 41 Bypass N, Venice Florida. It's relatively new, they just opened last September. Already becoming a local favorite Great staff, very helpful and courteous. Nice selection of pastries sandwiches and drinks the atmosphere, staff and food will make you feel like you're in Paris. Wonderful story behind this French Cafe Also, they've added a pop-up gift shop lots of fun items

Because it is so close to the Legacy Trail, this bright and sunny cafe has become a part of my Sunday bike ride routine. It’s a perfect stop at the halfway point of my ride. On my first visit I discovered that everything about this place is great. The beverages and French treats are just one part of the experience. The music makes me want to linger longer than I should, and of course, the staff are always pleasant. I see many people who come for “to go” orders. That’s fine, of course, but I think that they’re missing something. They should grab a seat and stay for a while. You should, too.

Best coffee in Venice/Nokomis, by far. Best quiche too. Baristas are great, owners are great, got nothing but good things to say about this place.

Wow! I had no idea this little Gem of a French Bakery/coffee/wine cafe was so close to me! I was impressed as soon as I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by the 2 women behind the counter. It was difficult to choose my latte and pastry as there were so many tempting choices. Then I had to choose where to sit and hang out with my book. Again, lots of choices of sitting areas. I liked how the music was not too loud so that you could have a conversation if meeting a friend. The menu had a nice collection of quiches, salads, flatbreads, and French cheese plates. Also offered is a glass of wine or beer to go along with your yummy lunch. My vanilla-caramel latte and chocolate avalanche pastry was incredible. I will have to force myself to try a different yummy pastry on my next visit. I will definitely be back, and will pass along my rave review to my friends and neighbors. 9-4-24 Review update: I have been back so many times since my 1st review - always a great experience! Alexis, Aubrey, and Shawnna help me decide on a new latte creation, and I have enjoyed every time: Pistachio-Mocha Coconut-Almond Vanilla-Mocha Dirty Chai Caramel-Mocha Alexis suggested a Raspberry-Mocha latte for my next visit. I like how they offer Oat milk for my lattes, and I heard today that Almond milk is now an option. Today I brought my mother for lunch and we shared a yummy sandwich with a glass of French Laur sauvignon blanc wine. We enjoyed both! Tomorrow I am introducing a neighbor friend to the Cafe and will try one of their delicious looking quiches for breakfast. 10-31-2024 - Update Still impressed with Moulin Blanc Cafe every time I visit! Today Alexis created a yummy Coconut-mocha latte for me to go with the seasonal pumpkin danish - wow! I like how the danish choices change: blueberries , cherries , pumpkin , etc. All excellent. Next time, I will have to try the new quiche, Goat cheese & bacon. I am sure it will be wonderful. Thank you to the staff for always making me feel welcome.

Super cool vibe had a very delicious lavender latte and a croissant with Swiss cheese and a fried egg. Lots of seating, not crowded. I sat on a comfy couch next to a life size skeleton wearing a beret and a baguette in its mouth. The hat and bread were obviously french references. The skeleton itself was more of a puzzle. I'm assuming it's a reference to the Paris catacombs. Either way, the skeleton made great company. I stayed for about three hours to work on my iPad. Good vibes all around. Shout out to Eli for the artistic latte! I messed it up a bit because I already took a sip before I took the photo.
